Fujitsu's Refurbished Laptop Policy
Any refurbished laptop purchased through Fujitsu may come with different warranty specifications than through a dealer. If purchased through Fujitsu, then their policy is that all refurbished laptops are completely tested to meet the specifications that they outline for their regular retail laptops, and come with a 90-day International Limited Warranty, and are not returnable.
The turnaround time for servicing and warranty issues will differ between countries, check with Fujitsu if the turnaround time in your country is important. Also, their international warranty is only valid for products purchased in the continental Americas.
If Fujitsu's warranty information is an important element of your purchase, then please make sure that you know if the refurbished Fujitsu laptop that you purchase is refurbished by the factory or the dealer that is selling it. Both can be equally reliable, but the distinction is important with regards to the warranty specifications.
Fujitsu a quirky choice
Fujitsu laptops each seem to be plagued with big highs and lows, with trade offs being made all over the place. The key to picking a great Fujitsu laptop lay in choosing the model that has the highs that are important to you, and lows that aren't deal breakers.

The LifeBook N6210 offers an amazing level of performance for most multimedia tasks, with an amazing 17" screen, TV tuner with remote that allows for recording to either DVD or the hugeh 100GB hard drive, and even transfer, of all things, VHS to DVD. This laptop is a decent alternative to a desktop machine, but if the tuner is a huge plus for you, then be prepared that reports of slow tuning and less than perfect reception are not uncommon, but its power and convenience and fabulous screen can easily make up for this. Also to keep in mind that this is one of the largest laptops on the market, weighing over 9 pounds, with a 15.9" width, 11.6" depth and 2" thick!
