Refurbished Lenovo laptops virtually new
According to Lenovo, their factory refurbished laptops are simply those laptops that have been returned to the company with the factory seal broken, and may or may not have even been used, let alone turned on.
Most dealers selling refurbished lenovo laptops include the adapter, Windows XP and the warranty information, are fully inspected to ensure that the unit operates in as like-new condition as possible and fully functioning.
Check with the seller to see if the unit is a factory refurbished laptop or done by a dealer, both of which can come with different benefits and ramifications, including the installed software and operating system. As with all refurbished laptops, each refurbished Lenovo laptop has been built differently.
Lenovo making a comeback
The Hong Kong based company Lenovo has been struggling in the last few years, with low sales of both desktops and laptops, but for the end of theie fourth quarter this year, Lenono is reporting a massive jump to profitability, with sales of $4.3 Billion, up from $2.7 Billion for the same period last year. The company wasn't too verbose on the reasons why, except to say that they are seeing strong sales in the PC marketplace from both general consumers and corporate clients, with laptops accounting for about 62% of net sales. The market that grew the most for Lenovo is their home market of China.
The Lenovo IdeaPad (Y460) provides strong competition, especially in the gaming laptop market which is a tough laptop market in which to maintain a solid stand as other manufacturers sell amazing alternatives. The U350 is a cool looking laptop, both thin and light, and offers more power than the average consumer may need, but some may find it a little underpowered than initial impressions make.
Lenovo ThinkPads a strong choice

The Lenovo ThinkPads are a strong laptop choice too, expecially the X100e, with a powerful processor and excellent keypad, and a strong, solid build quality, but comes with a trade-off; extended battery life.
As a business laptop, the X100e is an amazing ultraportable and a dream to use for writing and most other business tasks, and it's dimensions and weight make this Lenovo a no-brainer. Although the price is a little high compared to others in this market, and a weaker battery life, it is still a great choice. It also has a nice matte-finish screen which reduces glare, making work much easier in a variety of lighting conditions.
